Hive Colors in BSS Reworked

Red, blue, and white are playstyles. Pick one before the next royal jelly spree.

Hives Hub

This hub treats hive color as a playstyle, not a coat of paint. In BSS Reworked you still claim a honeycomb, gather pollen, and convert honey, but the bees you keep decide whether you live on flames, bubbles, or marks. Red, blue, and white are the three commitments. Mixing every portrait “for the collection” is how people miss rebirth windows and dump royal jelly into bees they will delete after the next hive building pass.

Read this page for the decision. Then open the matching color guide and the hive color tier list before you spend star treats or a Port-O-Hive upgrade on the wrong field.

Pick a color before you pick a mythic

A mythic bee is only correct if it matches the field you actually stand in. Precise Bee on a balloon account is a tourist. Tadpole Bee on a flame account is a tourist. Decide the color with three questions:

  1. Do you play active (micro flames, Precise marks) or AFK-leaning (bubbles, balloons, convert)?
  2. Which fields can you already survive: pepper and cactus, pine and stump, or coconut and pumpkin?
  3. Which tools can you afford next — scythe-line, bubble-line, or porcelain-line?

If you cannot answer those, stay mixed for one more honey session using the honey guide, then come back. Early mixed is allowed. Late mixed is a tax on every convert.

Red hive — flames, crit, and busy hands

Red is the active playstyle. You want heat, flames, and Precise marks so pepper, strawberry, cactus, rose, and mountain top stop feeling empty. Gifted Precise Bee is the identity piece. Spicy Bee, Riley Bee, Demon Bee, and other fire tokens fill attack and pollen jobs. Red converts worse than blue until SSA and convert bees catch up, so you cannot AFK a red hive and expect balloon numbers. You click more. You also clear vicious bee windows faster if your attack bees are real.

Gear wants a scythe-family tool and a demon-style mask once you leave the all-rounder stage. Full slot lists live on the red hive page; this hub only tells you whether that page is yours. Pick red if you like fighting the field, you already own Precise or can jelly toward it, and you are willing to babysit flames instead of watching balloons pop.

Blue hive — bubbles, balloons, and convert

Blue is the default mid-game engine in this genre and the friendliest first color hive in BSS Reworked. Tadpole Bee, Buoyant Bee, Bubble Bee, Frosty Bee, and Diamond Bee push bubbles and balloons. You stand in blue flower, bamboo, pine tree, and stump. Convert at the hive is the whole point: the bag fills, balloons hold pollen, and honey per minute stays high even if your clicks are sloppy.

Blue is why people call this an incremental. Learn the manual loop on how to play before you automate it, or you will not notice when a script is converting into a full bag you never spend. Gear wants diamond-style masks and bubble-line collectors when you can pay for them. Ratios sit on the blue hive page. Pick blue if you want the first dedicated color, you farm for rebirth badges, or you play on a six-player server where you cannot babysit every token.

White hive — marks, goo, and late fields

White is the patience playstyle. Vector Bee, Fuzzy Bee, Gummy Bee, and Carpenter Bee care about marks, fuzz bombs, and goo. Coconut, pumpkin, spider, pineapple, and dandelion are the rooms. White often waits on SSA (Supreme Star Amulet) and a porcelain-family tool before it outruns a good blue hive.

Do not go white because a thumbnail said it is endgame. Go white when you can afford the bees and the field time. Until then, a mixed hive with one Vector is still mixed. The white hive page is the loadout; the bee tier list is the jelly order. Pick white if your gifted supports are already online, you can live on coconut without dying to the crab, and you are done using blue as a rebirth printer.

How this hub connects

Use hive building for gifted order, support tokens (Melody, Baby Love, haste, focus), and when to rebuild. Use the color pages for counts. Use the hive tier list when two colors look equally good on paper. After a Huge Update, re-read the color you already play before you royal-jelly the hive into a different one.

If you transferred a BSS 1:1 hive, keep that color until you understand Reworked rebirths and the Metthiology Tree. Restores copy rebirths and hive; they do not magically fix a bad mask. Details sit on data transfer.

Commit a color before the next expensive jelly spree. The honeycomb is a machine. Paint is for the lobby.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for BSS Reworked on Roblox.

Which hive color should I start in BSS Reworked?

Blue if you want convert and balloons. Red if you already like flames and Precise. Stay mixed until you can answer the three questions above, then open blue hive or red hive.

Is a mixed hive ever correct?

Yes, for the first tool and bag hours. After you own two or three bees that scream a color, stop rolling the opposite color. Hive building is the rebuild rules.

Do I need SSA before I pick a color?

No. SSA (Supreme Star Amulet) is an endgame multiplier, not a permission slip. Pick a color, farm honey, then roll SSA toward that color’s pollen and convert.

Where are the actual bee slot counts?

On red hive, blue hive, and white hive. Rankings that explain why those bees stay are on the bee tier list.

Can I copy an original Bee Swarm hive screenshot?

Use it as a color template, then confirm the bees exist here. This fangame adds rebirths and Metthiology. Check the hive color tier list after patches.
